Meeting both with "Touraine Actu" between Terra Botanica in Angers and the Arboretum de La Martinière in Veigné near Tours in the Loire valley .
Terra Botanica Parc in Angers ,opened in 2010.It is the first Parc with vegetal theme in Europe.It is located in Anjou wich is the first horticultural region in France .

It was the Conseil Général de Maine et Loire wich created Terra Botanica in 2010.
In the first years , its instigators hesitated for this park to be an attraction Park or in an environmental Park ,now it is a life plant Park
On 11 hectares ,we found ,alround world of plants,ludic activities with cinema 4D holograms,

So , This park is also knowledge or dream with rose garden or the life rotts with the Evolution of the species.
There are 30 persons ,and 100 with the season, working in Terra Botanica. Objective of the manager is 300,000 visitors a year.
L’Arboretum de La Martinière in Veigné , near Tours ,was created in 1967 by Michel Davo ,on an old site of an ancient quarry located on 4 hectares. Two ponds are now on the extraction sites .

This arboretum ,with also wild grass ,grew slowly with regular new plants of all the continents .
1000 species of trees and plants are on site.Bamboos are one of the themes of this Arboretum..
